I have found that some of the FreeBSD ports want gmake to compile, which I don't consider to be a big deal. As a matter of fact, now that I think about it, I don't think a port has *ever* failed to compile for me with gmake...(of course the kernel won't compile under gmake, but I guess that's life) -Matt
