Boot: >Then it does the following: > -Hangs > -Freezes > -Dies Well if it is after the Boot: prompt, try booting off the floppy and typing: wd(0,a)/kernel in answer to the Boot: prompt.. you don't say WHAT your geometry is, or wht you set up as the slice/partition figures...... My guess it's somewhere in there.... try the following: get the 2.1SNAP boot/flp and the fixit.flp boot the boot.flp select the "fixit" option do "fdisk" and write down EVERYTHING it says do "disklabel wd0" and do the same post the results here.... julian
