Boot:

Well if it is after the Boot:
prompt, try booting off the floppy and typing: 

wd(0,a)/kernel

in answer to the Boot: prompt..

you don't say WHAT your geometry is, or wht you set up as the 
slice/partition figures......

My guess it's somewhere in there....

try the  following:

get the 2.1SNAP boot/flp and the fixit.flp

boot the boot.flp
select the "fixit" option

do "fdisk" and write down EVERYTHING it says
do "disklabel wd0" and do the same

post the results here....
