Hi,
I had a problem installing NetBSD/i386 1.0 on a second partition
on my Western Digital AC2700. My primary partition in Win95 and
the second partition is 200.5 MB for NetBSD. I used the OnTrack
disk manager that comes with my Western Digital disk to mark the
second partition type as 165 decimal, however when I booted and
installed from the the kernel and install floppy I got the message
that it couldn't find the NetBSD partition - luckily it didn't kill
my Win95 partition so I did not have to reload my backup on tape.

Any ideas. I'd like to avoid repartitioning. Is there an easy
way to remark the partition correctly with the partition type
0xA5 (165, in decimal)???

thanks...Please email your response to abare@iac.net.

thanks...Andrew
