Interesting you should say that - I recently learned of the Linux emulator for FreeBSD, as well as the planned ext2fs support - I also hear rumors of ufs support for Linux. Linux & FreeBSD already use much of the same software, e.g. the gnu toolset, XFree86, Voxware sound drivers...
