The lack of a handbook has caused some problems but I got the ftp site address for this document. Unfortunately I only have ftp facilities under DOS so although I now have the handbook, it is on a DOS partition which I don't know how to mount under FreeBSD and it is in a format which I can't uncompress under DOS. Can somebody please tell me how to mount a DOS partition and then how to translate a file which should be BSD readable into a form or onto a partition where it is accessible and useful! I promise that once I get the manual I will read it and cut out some of my moron level pleas for help but since I am not in a position where I can RTFM I would really appreciate some assistance. My drive configuration is as follows : Connor IDE drive : wd0 - has DOS partition - which I want to access but is not shown by mount at present - and FreeBSD / filesystem Quantum SCSI drive : sd0 - has remaining FreeBSD filesystems Detailed mount commands or whatever would be very useful since references to other documents have resulted in my being in the position of needing to make this call for help in the first place! Thanks for any help. Regards Stuart
