Hi,
I've setup an Exabyte 8mm tape backup drive and it does
local dump well. However, when I try to rdump from another
FBSD machine, it denys accepting the rdump request. These machines
are setup as standard UNIX host; dumphost:/etc/hosts.equiv has
the name of remotehost on it, but I thought this is invalid for
root's rexec, so dumphost:/home/root/.rhost has the same content.
rdump is invoked with root permission on the remotehost and
any special rdump user on the dumphost is not specified from the
remotehost.
What's wrong with my setup?
