Doesn't say. The disk starts to whirl, then a second later BOOM, a kernel 
panic and the computer freezes.

I'm sure it's something to do with the Adaptec 2940 PCI adapter, like C. 
Mauritz suggests. 

I guess I'll go back to 2.0.5 for now. Thanks.
