I've tried a zillion things and it still doesn't work! I'm using a EIDE2300 Plus VLB I/O Card. Maxtor 7540AV EIDE 540 mb Drive Dx2-80 system. : Well if it is after the Boot: : prompt, try booting off the floppy and typing: : wd(0,a)/kernel : in answer to the Boot: prompt.. Tried this doesn't work : you don't say WHAT your geometry is, or wht you set up as the : slice/partition figures...... Geomentry is 1046,16,63 : do "fdisk" and write down EVERYTHING it says : do "disklabel wd0" and do the same : post the results here....
