I found that you often can have SCSI configuration problems. Try turning off all SCSI negotiation (including WIDE, etc), and make your SCSI bus as slow as possible (5.0MB). Also, make sure that your Adaptec itself can see the drives. If this works, then try turning one thing at a time back on, until you hit the problem. Pete.
