Hello,

gcc -v on other operating systems starts with something like

Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.3/2.5.7/specs
gcc version 2.5.7

Not so on 2.1.0's gcc 2.6.3. I need this file to frob some
defaults (like using -m486 instead of -m386). Why has this
file been eliminated?

Inquiring minds want to know...

Bye, Jens
