Hi,
I've got a box running the 951026-SNAP release.
Anyway, I compiled in ATAPI support, and then tried mounting my CD-ROM drive.
It worked, and I could do an ls -lR and get a directory of the whole thing.
But, when I tried to execute something from it, it doesn't work. You get I/O
errors. And, you can hear the laser moving back and forth, back and forth,
like it can't find something.

Anyway, I solved it by unhooking the first drive (a quad-speed Mitsumi) and
hooking up another (double-speed Sony, CDU-55E). This solved the problem!

Anyway, for those of you who are Unix device driver programmers, I thought
this info might be helpful. It sounds like maybe some kind of timing is off
in the wcd driver?

Anyway... just wanted to toss that thought out there.
