Hello,
I am running BSDI 2.0.(5 i think), and have and odd problem with users
running passwd. The user changes his password, and BSDI responds:

passwd: updating passwd database
passwd: password changed elsewhere. no changes made

root, however has no problem.

Shadow passwords are installed and running, as they came that way.. I
assume that passwd should already know that.

Any clues?
