For FreeBSD 2.1, you don't have to do this anymore.  Just use the
"dangerously dedicated" option in the partition editor (i.e., answer
the first question after ``A)ll FreeBSD'' with its non-default answer
[No]).  Ignore all "The detected geometry is incorrect" warnings, you
don't have to care for the geometry any more...
