I was just wondering how the NetBSD folk felt about this additional schism within the BSD camp, given that it was started by an ex-NetBSD core member and seems to be of more direct relevance to the NetBSD project than to us over in FreeBSD. We're still concentrating on the Intel platform over there, so the wider goals of OpenBSD still remain largely in the "academic interest" category for us and not something we're likely to lose any sleep over. I've also had plenty of "warning" about this one so am not unduly surprised to actually see it registered and started up for real. I wasn't sure there for awhile, but I guess Theo de Raadt is serious about doing this. Not to say that I'm insensitive to how this might look from the outside; yet another BSD? The Linux folks must be just wetting themselves.. :-) BSD Report card for the year: Effort ............... B+ Innovation ........... B Overall Improvement .. A Stability ............
