You've got a wrong newsgroup.  MacBSD is a nick name of NetBSD/mac68k.

Version 1.1 is supposed to be out today (I think).  After that
happens, it will be available on every NetBSD mirror site.  Try
http://www.netbsd.org for more info. on the mirror site nearest to
you.

Installation instruction should be distributed with the release.

Yes, it is true.  But there is a person working to get color supported
