Assuming FreeBSD-2.1, and your intention to dedicate the entire disk to FreeBSD: Run sysinstall, select C)ustom installation, and enter the P)artition editor. Select A)ll FreeBSD, and use the non-default ``dangerously dedicated'' option (not compatible with other systems on the same disk). Then use W)rite from the partition editor, and exit sysinstall. Finally, run disklabel -e -r sdX (with X == the sd unit number of your disk), and edit the BSD partitions you need. -- cheers, J"org joerg_wunsch@uriah.heep.sax.de -- http://www.sax.de/~joerg/ -- NIC: JW11-RIPE Never trust an operating system you don't have sources for. ;-)
