I'm using the 951104 SNAP of 2.1 and love it dearly... the new features
and performance improvement over 2.0 is wonderful. Even my bbs users
have commented on the speed increase, which all makes me very happy.

There is a problem however. Every time I attempt to compile a program
using sed as part of the configure, sed core dumps. I am specifically
trying to compile FuzzBall Muck 5.45 which uses a script created by the
gnu autoconfig program. Oddly, it compiled perfectly under 2.0 and ran
smoothly. When I was making backups in preparation of installing 2.1, I
didn't keep the compiled version, as I had a backup limit of 250 meg, and
used it all.

When it dumps, it gives me an error 11, and i've no idea what's wrong.
The memory in this computer has been running 2.0 for almost a year, with
no problem whatsoever. It passes the boot up test flawlessly, and no
other part of 2.1 is giving me problems...

Anyone have any ideas? (i.e. would it likely be worth the effort to grab
the sed sources and re-compile it?)

Thanks in advance,
Christine
