And be prepared to face the consequences if it doesn't work 8-) 

On my 1993 vintage IDE machine, this stops it from booting - the hard disk
light is on and the disk rattles away, but the boot prompt never appears.
Re-installing with the 'traditional' geometry is the only fix, although
even then I can only use 80% of the disk as the incorrect number of tracks
is detected and there is no way to correct it (I also had this problem with
2.0.5).

On the other hand, it works flawlessly with my new SCSI machine. The morale
is to spend a little extra for good quality hardware.

BTW Congratulations all round on an excellent job with 2.1.0R!
