I am quite suprised that it would be difficult for anyone familiar with relatively standard versions of UNIX to navigate their way around FreeBSD. Please refer to /usr/share/doc, /usr/share/FAQ (I think that the info is there.)Also, there is a fairly large project to produce SGML/HTML documentation. Since I do not participate in that part of the project, I refer you to the FreeBSD mailing lists for information as to its location, also the www site www.freebsd.org has lots of useful info (and is reasonably quick, since it is a FreeBSD site, although very heavily loaded!!!).
