Date: 4 Dec 1995 20:10:46 GMT Organization: BuffNET Lines: 19 Message-ID: <49vkk6$f15@buffnet2.buffnet.net> NNTP-Posting-Host: buffnet3.buffnet.net X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] I posted recently that I could install with FTP really well after I made my own ftp site. Today I had the normal problems using ftp - it would stall on bin.ab etc... But this was because I WAS USING A NEW CLASS C! Once I used an IP within the SAME class C as the ftp site - I could ftp install in a snap! How this relates - i dont know. All I know is that frmo a different class C I spent HOURS not getting anywhere. From within the same class C, no problem. ------------------------------------------------------------- Steve Hovey -- shovey@buffnet.net root@buffnet.net
