We are trying to get a BSDI box with PPP running across a modem. I see in 
the netstat that the link is up and listed as usable, static and gated. 
The problem is that the remote network and the local network can't see 
each other unless you are sitting on the machines that are on that 
network side that you are trying to ping. Any ideas on what the problem 
could be?
