There will probably be at least one BSD variant ported to CHRP. I'm planning on working on a port to the 8500 if I can ever get out from under my current list of things to do. The port for the 8500 might be mostly applicable for the 7500 and 9500, too. If you're looking for something for another machine, I don't know of any current activity. I am working on trying to help amass as much documentation as possible for a PowerPC port, and if you have anything to add, please let me know.
