ok, yes, 1.2 gig Conner IDE. when i say it doesn't recognize, i mean that 
when it does the finger to wdc0 and wdc1 it finds only the 200 meg disk 
that is currently in there. the kernel appears to boot otherwise.. i 
could install on the 200 meg disk, but i'd rather not.. i'd kinda like 
the extra space.
anything else i could say that might help?
