Hi there,
I got a good deal from Sun (thru work) for a SS4 (micro-Sparc), with 1G SCSI
drive, 32M ram, 15" monitor, Solaris 2.4 for about $3,000. If I buy a
Pentium 100 with the same hardware and run BSDI it will cost me about the same
(may be a little bit more). Is one inherently better ? Any comments about
speed, compatibilty, software availability ?
