well, not really

under DOS it might be,
but under FreeBSD, no, there is a 32 bit field describing the size..

the end cyl/sec/head stuff ihas a limit, but nothing uses it :)
(not for the freeBSD partition anyway..

I think this has changed terry, I think there is a 9GB drive at WC
as a (single) news partition .
