I have been having trouble with this for a while, so I would really
appreciate any help.

I have two IDE drives and one SCSI. The SCSI is only being used as
extra DOS storage space.

- I have Windows'95 on a 90% partition of my first IDE (left last 10%
free)
- I have installed FreeBsd 2.0.5 on my second IDE, and I also
installed booteasy from the FreeBsd cdrom

- I know that FreeBsd installed properly, because I can even boot
from the boot disk and use the install program to change system
settings, add users, change root passwd,...

- However, when I reboot the system, I get the option to:
        boot: F1: dos or F5: disk2
  I choose F5: disk2 , and when I go to disk 2, I get the option F1:
FreeBSD
I choose F1: FreeBSD, and get the regular FreeBsd boot prompt
But, no matter what I type at that prompt, the system halts...
nothing happens
    I tried hd(1,a)/kernel , wd(1,a)/kernel .. nothing seems to work

I have also tried installing the root partition on my SCSI, and the
/usr and swap space on the second IDE, so I could boot off my SCSI,
but that didn't work either.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance,

Dan
