What exactly are the steps needed to allow one machine to answer to more than one IP address on the same interface? I read "man ifconfig" but it isn't that clear. I'm assuming something like: ifconfig ep0 inet new.ip.address alias netmask 0xffffffff in rc.local will do the trick, but that seems to break the networking for my machine. (can't even ping itself) Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I suppose I'll submit the answer to the FreeBSD folk to add to the FAQ on the web site. :) Regards, Chris -- Christopher Mauritz | For info on internet access: ritz@mordor.com | finger/mail info@ritz.mordor.com OR Mordor International | http://www.mordor.com/ 201/212/718 internet access | Modem: (201)433-7343,(212)843-3451
