Linux has better UDP support.=) : : : : That's what they tell you. :-) Just remember, ignorance is bliss... : Well...For a fact I *KNOW* we get UDP returns to VERIFY our packates have : been sent out.=) Last I heard the *BSD systems still don't have that : fixed.=) Excuse me for possible ignorance here, but I was under the impression that UDP was an unreliable protocol, hence no confirmation of delivery and no byte sequencing and thus less overhead for reliable physical connections. I believe that changing this breaks the protocol specs. If you want VERIFICATION you need to write it yourself.
