While I will personally never run FreeBSD (mostly because I own hp300s, sun3s, sparcs, and MVME systems), there is a lot of quality code there that NetBSD could benefit from, and vice-versa. I think it's fair to say that the goals of the two projects are quite different, and would likely prevent any merging of the two. But, that doesn't mean we can't work together. BTW, I know of someone currently working on porting FreeBSD's VM system to NetBSD. I'll let him speak up if he want's to. -- Jason R.
