Message-ID: <DJGCp2.44z@metrics.com> Date: Tue, 12 Dec 1995 02:39:01 GMT Lines: 30 The following /etc/exports file works fine for us: /local/src -network 198.133.164 -mask 255.255.255.0 -maproot root:wheel /u/ftp -network 198.133.164 -mask 255.255.255.0 -maproot root:wheel /tmp -network 198.133.164 -mask 255.255.255.0 -maproot root:wheel and yet this one produces errors: /local/src -network 198.133.164 -mask 255.255.255.0 -maproot root:wheel /u/ftp -network 198.133.164 -mask 255.255.255.0 -maproot root:wheel /u/tmp -network 198.133.164 -mask 255.255.255.0 -maproot root:wheel even though /u/tmp is a perfectly fine directory on the /u filesystem. But we get errors like these in the syslog: Dec 11 15:27:57 metrics mountd[67]: /u/tmp: Can't change attributes (already exported?) Dec 11 15:27:57 metrics mountd[67]: Bad exports list line /u/tmp -network 198.133.164 -mask 255.255.255.0 -maproot root Same thing happened when I attempted to export both /u/ftp and /u/ftpx at the same time. Does mountd only allow one export per filesystem? Or does it only allow one export with the same base directory?
