I can't believe I have a correction to *this* guy; he's my guru in these matters. And in truth, I haven't tried it yet; we're still waiting for funds to get approved. But: Orange Micro makes a full PC-on-a-NuBus-card, *and* an adapter for the 6100's PDS slot (and it even has room for a PCMCIA Ethernet card, in case you need to run the same stack from both processors at once). It *should* work. (Of course, for "should" and a quarter you can get a cup of bad coffee.) Call them and ask them, and insist on a trial period. We hope to get 1, and then more if the first works. It's a cinch that you'll have an interesting accumulation of scar tissue.... -- Grant Schampel Laboratory Information Systems, University of Minnesota Hospital & Clinic Box 198 Mayo Bldg., 420 Delaware St. SE Minneapolis, MN 55455-0392 (612) 626-3539 Opinions are my own, of course; not my employer's official views also GCSchampel@aol.com
