Date: Tue, 12 Dec 1995 06:32:54 GMT Organization: Voicenet - Internet Access - (215)674-9290 Lines: 19 Message-ID: <4aj80t$gus@news.voicenet.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: philly42.voicenet.com X-Newsreader: Forte Free Agent v0.55 i can't figure out what the deal is with BSDI. if FreeBSD didn't exist, then maybe it would be worth a look. but their byzantine licensing structure ($900 = 10 connected users) is a farce if you ask me. i must be missing the point. what does BSDI offer me that i can't/don't get with FreeBSD (or even Linux for that matter). For a couple of grand, i could buy and set up an ass-kicking BSDI P133 super system. for the same sum, BSDI sends me (FedEx, thank you) a CDROM, and a tech-support number.... :\ please clue me in. CB
