My immediate problem was just getting the printer into text mode. Someone else sugested I put an input filter on the queue and have it put an "<ESC>&k2G" sequence out at the bewginning of eacy file. It also adds a form-feed to the end of the file. This has solved my immediate problem. -- William A.
