I spent 4 hours today trying to get the 2.1 boot.flp to load in and know that
the zp0 was operational on my NEC Versa E.
Please can someone tell me that I am doing something wrong because I have all
the base address, IRQ's, SLOTS, you name it, I have tried it.
Example: Boot from DOS, run the a:\install to make sure that I am on IRQ10 and
0x300 base address. I then boot with a /kernel -c and make sure that my zp0 is
going to check it out but I just get 'no card found at 0x300' ARG!!!!!

I thought, I could just go down and buy one of these 3c589 cards get my Versa
to run FreeBSD with a wonderful PCMCIA (10baseT) but I was wrong.
I have gone through the 'search' engine of www.freebsd.org and there is nothing
about this type of problem I seem to be having.

Maybe the boot.flp is not going to work with the zp driver until I rebuild the
kernel and set stuff up? If anyone can spare a few minutes, please let me know
via email. blast@crl.com would get to me just fine.
thank,
blast
