I'm having a very difficult time trying to install FreeBSD 2.1.
I get to the part where all the file systems are supposed to be
created, and I get "Unable to create file system on wd2a, returned 36."
Or something similar (I can't remember the exact wording). Before that,
I had gotten as far as installing binaries bin.bq-bin.bv (from floppy)
and then I would get a write error. I've tried re-copying the floppy it
died on, but it still happens. I'm using a P133, 24M EDO RAM, 812M IDE
HD, Linksys Ether16 ethernet card, Stealth64 VRAM video card. Have
there been any problems with this setup at all? I've tried so many
different configurations, I'm at a total loss... I've tried using SCSI
drives, 3 different ones in all, and the one IDE drive. I've checked
and double checked the geometry, partition, and file systems, trying
different sizes for root (since I got that write error before in the
middle of installing the binaries).

What I'm trying to do here is set up an ISP in my area. I have BSDI,
but when I was looking at the specs for FreeBSD, it seemed to me that it
wasn't worth spending $1000 for 16 users when I could use FreeBSD for
nothing. Are there even any advantages with BSDI?

If anyone can offer any help at all, I would greatly appreciate it...
