First i've installed a DOS partition of 350 Mb (less than one half) so the first block of the FreeBSD partition isn't over 1024 cylinder. Then i've done the installation from this partition and all went well. When i did the final bootstrap, DOS started but FreBSD didn't. It told me "missing operating system". I've tried with Bootmanager, without it , and with os-bs. (Four or five tries ... ) :-(( What i did wrong ? Sorry if it's a FAQ Regards, Paolo Tealdi
