Wilson <prw@eden.rutgers.edu> Philip: I suppose they teach arrogance and a total lack of courtesy at Rutgers, but try to curb your natural impulses. This guy did not start a flame war; he simply asked for information. I too like to think of myself as a reasonably intelligent person, one who has been programming and otherwise dealing with computers since 1973, and I was wondering exactly what he was: what technical differences exist between the two? Unlike him, I did go out and get both OS's and have installed them both. That, however, was my choice, since I had the financial wherewithal to afford enough hard disk space to be able to load both. The newsgroups exist for exchange of ideas, information, and HELP. They are not your private playground and graffiti wall. Some of us enjoy reading and (yes, sometimes) contributing. Now, get down off your high horse attitude and try doing something constructive. You might find it refreshing. Steve Martin Knoxville, TN (no, not the comedian)
