Well, I finally got it to work. But it was painful! Until it finally (and magically, it seemed) started working, I got all sorts of bizarre messages! I think a lot of my problems had to do with confusion over disk geometry. The /etc/disktab entry that finally worked was zip:\ :ty=removable:nc#48:sc#4096:\ :dt=SCSI:\ :pc#196608:oc#0:bc#8192:fc#1024: I haven't yet tried making a bootable disk ... perhaps next week! tim -- Tim Singletary, August Automation Inc., (301) 286-8606
