I'm in need of some assistance.
We're running BSDI 2.0.1, and we've been getting alot of problems trying to
get certain Winsock programs to work over our PPP dialups. When executing the
program, it will die while attempting to establish a connection to the remote
site.
Seems all the programs are UDP based. Examples of such programs are Netrek,
Kali, PowWow, CivNet, Monopoly. There may be others, but I haven't found them
yet. I've tested them using the same configs on other ISP's, and they work
(almost) flawlessly. Someone I spoke to mentioned something about filtering
UDP packets, but he was unable to elaborate any further.
When I brought this matter to BSD's attention, the person I spoke to didn't
give me any clues where to start looking, and did nothing more than quickly
point a finger at the makers of these programs (*real* useful).

If someone could please give me some help on this one, I'd really appreciate
it. If you need any more info, please ask, and I will answer you to the best
of my ability. Thanks.
