1. Make sure to have the BIOS enabled on the 1542B.

2. To access the DOS drive, set the CMOS setting for the C: drive to
the appropriate setting for the ESDI drive type.

3. To access the BSD drive, set the CMOS setting to 'Not Installed'.

This is probably the only way to deal with this with stock hardware.
I have not tested it as yet, but will probably be doing so in the next
week on a system with a 200MB IDE for DOS, and a 200MB SCSI for BSDi/386.
