It's those big DOS partitions, the virii are leaking over :)

Seriously, I'v got a 2.05 system configured pretty much the same (expept
no DOS :) and it too _ocasionally_ trashes the filesystem on the SCSI drive,
never the IDE.  Sitting right next to it is an identical system that is IDE 
only and it never has a problem.  My gut feeling is that there is some
problem deep down running IDE and SCSI, I'm going to replace the IDE
with another SCSI to test the theory soon.
