Gianopoulos; Raytheon Electronic Systems : wag@swl.msd.ray.com : -------------------------------------------------------- : This is my personal opinion and not that of my employer. apsfilter does a very good job in this. It is available in the ports collection and pretty much self-explaining. It needs ghostscript though as its concept is to convert ASCII (and lots of other file formats such as DVI, Tiff, ...) to Postscript and to use ghostscript for printing. OTOH, if you *only* want to print text, you should consider the FreeBSD Handbook, somewhere in http://www.freebsd.org. AFAIK, setting up a printer is described there in detail for Deskjets and other printers. Hope this helps. -- Martin Butkus >>> Live long and prosper. <<< Phone/Fax: +49.5331.298710 Am Stadtwege 10, 38304 Wolfenbuettel, Germany
