I am looking for a standard way of automatically preventing zombies by
auto-reaping exit'ed children.

I know SIGCLD works under System V, and I know I can install a SIGCHLD
handler to wait() after each child exit.

I have looked in the Seven's book "Advanced Programming in the Unix
environment, and I don't see anything".

I checked some archives and couldn't find anything.
