I respect your opinion, but you obviously have more faith in a few lines 
of text at the beginning of a file than I do :-).

"Proven" is a little overconfident. It is not that I suspect forgeries 
all the time, I just keep an open mind towards pranks. Headers don't 
necessarily prove anything other than less competent pranksters were not 
involved.

I don't really care who wrote something. An argument either makes sense or
it does not. An argument is either backed up by verifiable data or it is
not. A "Linus" signature does not add to or subtract from the credibility
of the argument, or in this case enhance the "flame".
