Date: 14 Dec 1995 18:19:57 GMT Organization: Omnicron Data Systems, Reston, VA Lines: 13 Message-ID: <4appsd$r9a@news4.digex.net> Reply-To: ford@omnicron.com NNTP-Posting-Host: access1.digex.net X-Newsreader: TIN [UNIX 1.3 950824BETA PL0] I have a laptop (Zenith Z-Lite) with 386BSD 0.1.24 on it. I also have an Infotel 14.4kbps PCMCIA modem. The Z-Lite's BIOS recognizes the modem and it seems to set up the PCIC registers appropriately, but 386BSD doesn't recognize it. Has anyone gotten any PCMCIA modem to work under 386BSD? BTW, I hacked a little bit of PCIC initialization into the NE2000 driver and got the Socket EA PCMCIA Ethernet card to work quite well under 386BSD. Thanks, -=] Ford [=-
