Subject: PCI bus based RAID5 solution for BSDI 2.X?

Is anyone aware of the existence of any PCI bus based RAID5 controllers that
have drivers available for BSDI 2.X?

We would be particularly interested in hearing from anyone who has
successfully implemented a Mylex PCI based RAID5 solution on this platform.

Considering the increasing importance of RAID generally, and its wide
implementation on other UNIX platforms notably SUN - the lack of a bus based
BSDI solution is somewhat surprising to say the least. We are of course fully
aware of the non O/S specific SCSI translation solutions, but these are really
in no way comparable to a properly implemented dedicated bus based solution.

Thanks in advance.
