It's obnoxious as this machine is used for :nothing but mail. This is a feature of tcsh. The autologout variable defaults to 60 minutes if it is not set. To set it to another value just do 'set autologout=xx' where xx is the number of minutes of inactivity before you get logged out. To turn it off just do 'set noautologout'. For more answers, just 'man tcsh'. --Jerry -- 8) Jerry Alexandratos % - % "Nothing inhabits my (8 8) alexandr@louie.udel.edu % - % thoughts, and oblivion (8 8) darkstar@strauss.udel.edu % - % drives my desires."
