Have you tried calling Netscape Communications Corporation and inquired as to whether, if you ***HAD*** to run either FreeBSD (or NetBSD) or Linux, which one you'd probably have better success with running thier Commerce Server compiled for a X86 platform (not NT)? You ***may*** be able to run the Netscape Commerce Server (for BSDI) on a FreeBSD or NetBSD box, but I'd place a small bet that you can't on Linux. Further, the binary you download for Netscape Navigator for Linux is unsupported, and will continue to be unsupported, yet if you purchase a BSDI version of Netscape Navigator, they will support the software.. of course, it's not a good idea to mention you're not using BSDI when talking to the tech... ;-) -Khan -- "Anytime I see something screech across a room and latch onto someone's neck, and the guy screams and tries to get it off I have to laugh, because what _is_ that thing?!" -Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey
