My new 2.1R on a pentium 100 with 32 MB ram suffers from severe screen draw
problems when rlogin is used instead of telnet.

After spending the whole day on it - I discovered that when you telnet
stty shows a speed of 9600 and when you rlogin (in my case) it shows
a speed of 57600 from one mahcine or 38400 from the other.

So - rlogin'ed to the troubled machine, I did 'stty speed 9600' and
my screen draw rate IMPROVED dramatically!

In fact - the fastest thruput was achived with stty speed 0 or
stty speed 300 (but this confused some apps)

Question: Does any one know what changed in 2.1 from 2.0.5 that
a higher baud rate on a pty would do this? Any ideas where I could
look in the source? or is there some flow control param/issue I
just am not aware of? Any ideas and help is appreciated!
