If you think you need what BSDI offers -- go for it, and likewise -- if you think you need what *BSD offers -- then go for them. BSDI is not FreeBSD's enemy and I dare say that FreeBSD is better off because of BSDI. (This is my *personal* opinion only...) John Dyson
